Abstract
The development of communication technology also contributed to change human life without the exception of economic activity. Trading transactions are economic activities which can’t be avoided by someone in order to fulfill their needs. Firstly, trading transactions that developed in the society were carried out in a conventional manner that the seller and buyer had to meet each other. Technological advancements have made trading transactions developed so that trading can be done online with Internet as the media. The purpose of this study is to see know the mechanism of online trading transactions on online trading sites of Tokopedia and Shopee in Islamic economic’s perspective. The type of this study is qualitative research with a comparative descriptive approach and normative approach. The type of data in this study consists of primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques using literature techniques. The results of this study are that online trading transactions carried out by Tokopedia and Shopee are in accordance with Islamic economics both in terms of principle and conformity of the contract. The contract of trading online adopts a salam contract and purchase contract where the goods purchased will be sent after the payment. Then in the pillars of contract’s aspect has also fulfilled the pillars of trading in Islam. In addition, the practice of trading online also refers to five Islamic economic principles, namely the principle of Tawheed, morality, balance, individual freedom and justice.
