Teori Behaviorisme Dalam Konteks Kurikulum Merdeka

This research discusses the theory of behaviorism in terms of understanding, figures, and aplication in the Merdeka curriculum, using library research to build a theoretical foundation, develop a conceptual framework, or provide a comprehensive picture of the development of knowledge on the target topic. The results of this research show that behaviorism theory emphasizes that human behavior can be explained and modified through learning experiences, with a focus on responses that can be observed and measured externally. Some of the key figures in behaviorism theory are Ivan Pavlov, John B. Watson, and B.F. Skinner. The application of behaviorist theory in the Independent Curriculum can be carried out through various stages which include diagnostic assessments, carried out to identify behavior, pay attention to responses to environmental stimuli. Planning is carried out by designing learning strategies, emphasizing positive reinforcement for behavior including setting learning objectives and determining appropriate stimulus and reinforcement. Furthermore, in the learning process, teachers apply techniques such as positive reinforcement, shaping, and chaining to form the desired behavior.
