This study aims to improve the reading comprehension skills of tenth-grade students through the implementation of the Think-Pair-Share (TPS) cooperative learning strategy. This Classroom Action Research (CAR) was conducted in two cycles at Darussalam Senior High School, with 32 tenth-grade Bahasa students as subjects. Data were collected through reading comprehension tests (pre-test and post-test) and observations of student learning activities. The results showed a significant increase in the average reading comprehension score of students, from 65.2 to 74.8 in Cycle I at the beginning (pre-cycle), and again to 85.5 in Cycle II. Furthermore, the percentage of classical learning completion also increased from 35 to 65, reaching 90 at the end of Cycle II, exceeding the established success indicator. This improvement was supported by increased student activeness and motivation during the learning process. Therefore, it can be concluded that the implementation of the Think-Pair-Share strategy is effective and can improve the reading comprehension skills of tenth-grade students.
